Gerber Collision & Glass awarded collision students each with a $2,000 scholarship and $1,000 in tools through a spring tool grant opportunity with the Collision Repair Education Foundation. To be eligible for the tool grant and scholarship, collision students needed to visit a local Gerber Collision & Glass facility and interview with the local stores manager.
The winning students were able to select $1000 (retail value) in tools and equipment from the NATEF required tool list in addition to receiving a $2,000 scholarship.
The 2013 Gerber Collision & Glass student scholarship and tool grant winners include:
Lino Meraz – Lincoln College of Technology (Melrose Park, Ill.)
Asare Boatneg – Lincoln College of Technology (Melrose Park, Ill.)
"Gerber is very pleased to provide Lino and Asare with these awards in partnership with the Collision Repair Education Foundation.
