After a collision, hidden damage can occur in many sections of the vehicle and be difficult to detect. Get a breakdown of the parts of the vehicle that are most likely to contain damage after an accident.
Hidden damage can occur in almost any type of vehicle collision. Many types of damage cannot be seen with the naked eye, and require a full dismantle of the vehicle in order to fully assess what is wrong and to plan how to fix it.

Body Frame
Damage to the vehicle frame can cause issues with the alignment and airbag deployment system. The frame of your car is susceptible to two types of damage. Direct damage appears directly at the point of impact on your vehicle. Indirect damage is the damage that can occur to other portions of the vehicle as a result of the impact, such as damage to the sensor systems.
Electronic Systems
Electronic system repair is more important than ever. The average vehcile now has between 60 and 100 sensors onboard, each reporting on a different aspect of the car's health. In a collision, these systems can become damaged without any obvious signal to let the vehicle owner know.
Bumpers
Bumper replacement has become increasingly complicated within the last few years, as many vehcile monitoring systems house components in the bumper. These systems need to be disconnected before the bumper is removed. A typical bumper can now include parts of the blind spot monitoring, airbag deployment, parking and back-up camera technology.
