Shops and technicians must meet several criteria
for these awards, including having accurate
data. Service writers and technicians must have
worked 90 percent of the days the shop was open
during the contest period, April through June
2011. Over the three categories, points are
based on jobs written per repair order, closing
ratio, average daily billed hours, average
billed hours per repair order, number of jobs
written per repair order, technician efficiency,
and parts/labor/total gross profit
percentages.
“This challenge is a testament to the high
level of service and integrity being found in
auto repair shops across the country,” said David Rogers, the
Monday Morning Mechanic and co-founder of Auto
Profit Masters. “Because these auto shops take
extreme pride in their work and their people,
they strive to always be the very best. We know
next quarter we’ll see intense competition for
top honors.”
First place service writer and technician
