The Automotive Management Institute (AMI) says the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) recently placed automotive repair and collision businesses on their planned investigations list. Inspectors already are visiting shops and should be expected to do so all over the country. To save time and money, shops can take steps to review their safety programs and ensure they are in compliance before a visit from an inspector. To help shops prepare, AMI offers an information-packed course that translates regulations and other information into practical language with supporting easy-to-understand materials.
