CCC Information Services will integrate its CCC ONE® Total
Repair Platform workflow solution information with Enterprise
Rent-A-Car's ARMS® Automotive Exchange, paving the way for
virtually immediate updates on in-process repairs. The
integration is slated for delivery to collision repairers by
the end of March.
When information impacting the repair completion date is
entered into a repair plan generated in CCC ONE™ Workflow,
repair information will be automatically communicated to the
ARMS solution via a secure exchange using open CIECA BMS
standards.
“We are pleased to establish this integration between CCC ONE
Workflow and ARMS users,” said Debbie Day, Senior Vice
President of Marketing and Product Management at CCC
Information Services Inc. “We view this as another opportunity
to leverage the CCC ONE platform – not only streamlining
processes within the repair facility, but going beyond the
four walls to create a seamless workflow among claim
constituents.”
This functionality will be available to all locations using
CCC ONE Workflow, with a link established following a shop’s
electronic verification/permission.
David G. Smith, Enterprise Rent-A-Car Vice President, said,
“The integration is delivering benefits that continue to make
the replacement rental process more efficient by eliminating
the need to manually exchange information to update the status
of repairs. That efficiency gives body shops more time to
focus on actually repairing cars, on time and on budget.”
