The IP Process Refinish System with Air-Dry Technology from The Martin Senour Co. combines the simplicity of automotive paints with forward-thinking, modern technology.

The IP Process Refinish System removes the need for baking to achieve a fast cure time. The IP Process uses its proprietary Air-Dry technology to cure at ambient (70 degrees to 75 degrees Fahrenheit) room temperatures, allowing for same-day repairs. The IP Process, which has received numerous certifications from OEM manufacturers, uses high-quality primers, basecoats and urethane clearcoats that produce a quality finish.

"The IP Process Refinish System is a win-win for all concerned; shops can paint more cars and reduce their carbon footprint," said Jeff Green, Martin Senour director of sales. “The IP Process provides higher productivity, higher performance and higher profits."

The IP Process Refinish System not only benefits the environment by reducing a shop's carbon footprint, but it impacts the bottom line by helping paint more cars, faster. Because high-temperature baking is not required, any underutilized, properly ventilated, shop space can be converted into an IP Process area to service such painting jobs as bolt-on bumpers, superficial scrapes, door dings and more. The coating allows such jobs to move quickly out the door and keep the job flow moving. It is also ideal for dealerships looking to quickly touch-up trade-in models for quick resale.

Besides increasing the potential for quicker job turnaround and increased productivity, the IP Process also significantly reduces energy requirements by eliminating the need for high-temperature bake cycles. Turning off the heat reduces carbon emissions, the dependency on fossil fuels used to heat the spray booth and, in turn, an automotive shop's energy bill.

"The Martin Senour IP Process Refinish System is fast, dust free and easy to use," said Scott Tompkins of Fairbanks Collision Service in Fairbanks, Alaska. "Here in Alaska we use propane for heat and with IP Process, we've now cut our heating bills down to just one-third of what they had been."

The IP Process Refinish System requires only mainstream equipment and delivers the flexibility, speed and ease that have been associated with the automotive coatings of the past; yet offers modern durability and quality. No expensive ultraviolet equipment is required. The IP Process Refinish System eliminates the dark areas caused by UV lights, as well as the special waste disposal techniques associated with UV technologies.
