ELK GROVE, Calif. — At the recent 2007 SkillsUSA Automotive Service Technology National Championships, ALLDATA LLC — a provider of manufacturers’ service and repair information, shop management software and customer relations tools for the automotive repair and collision industries — provided resources and judging at the competition, which was held in June in Kansas City. This is the eighth year that the company has been involved with the regional, state or national SkillsUSA competitions. As an official sponsor of the SkillsUSA organization, ALLDATA sends representatives to judge the annual automotive competitions at the California regional and state levels, then again at the National finals. ALLDATA also provides the Electronic Service Information test station. “Our involvement with the SkillsUSA organization at the regional, state and national levels gives ALLDATA an unparalleled opportunity to invest in the future of the automotive industry,” states Rich Diegle, ALLDATA product manager and SkillsUSA automotive committee member. “The enthusiasm and dedication displayed by the students, their instructors and the SkillsUSA organization is truly inspirational. I’m extremely happy to be a participant.” SkillsUSA is a national nonprofit organization of students, teachers and industry representatives serving more than 3,600 technical and high schools and two-year colleges.
