Bulletin 06-06-01-017G
LAND ROVER: 2003-05 Range Rover (LM)
SUBJECT: MIL illumination with P0134 and/or P0154 indicates no activity in the oxygen sensor. The problem may be due to water or other contamination in the sensor connectors. The bulletin includes a list of affected VINs and instructions for determining if the sensor connector can be reconditioned or if the sensor must be replaced. Instructions for reconditioning and sealing the connector are also included.
Bulletin LTB00185
Source: ALLDATA
GENERAL MOTORS: 2004-09 Chevrolet Malibu, 2005-09 Pontiac G6, 2007-09 Saturn AURA
SUBJECT: MIL illumination with P0461 and inaccurate fuel gauge readings may be caused by a fuel vapor vent line that has fallen out of place inside the fuel tank. This will prevent proper movement of the fuel level sensor float arm. The bulletin includes photos, illustrations and instructions for fixing the problem, but not for removing the fuel tank.
Bulletin 09-06-04-007
LEXUS: 2004-09 RX330, RX350, RX400H
SUBJECT: Water leaking into the vehicle at the rear hatch may be due to a crack in the body seam seal near the hatch strut mount. The bulletin includes color photos of the affected area along with instructions for diagnosing the source of the leak. If the seam is indeed the source, the seam must be welded before resealing.
Bulletin L-SB-0019-09
GENERAL MOTORS: 2006-07 Chevrolet TrailBlazer, Buick Rainer, GMC Envoy, Saab 9-7X
SUBJECT: These vehicles are fitted with a load-leveling system that uses air springs in the rear suspension. On some vehicles the suspension may sag or become uneven. The bulletin states that in most cases the problem can be remedied by calibrating the rear suspension height sensors, and there is no need to replace the compressor. The tech is referred to the Trim Height and Calibration procedure found in GM Service Information.
Bulletin 06-03-009-006B
GENERAL MOTORS: 2005-09 Corvette (manual transmission)
Subject: Low clutch pedal and/or difficulty shifting may be caused by a clutch that has "prematurely forward adjusted." The clutch is hydraulically activated, and the bulletin instructs to check the hydraulic system for leaks or other problems. If the clutch assembly must be replaced, there is a different replacement clutch kit that should be installed in vehicles with this condition. The bulletin includes diagnostic instructions and part numbers.
Bulletin 09-07-31-001
BMW: 2005-06 3 Series, 5 Series, Z4, X3 and X6 with N52 or N52K engine
SUBJECT: MIL illumination and low engine power along with VANOS codes stored in diagnostic memory is probably caused by mechanical failure of the VANOS variable cam timing system. The problem is most likely to occur after driving for some time and will immediately go away if the engine is stopped and restarted. The problem is caused by lack of oil pressure to the VANOS control valves. The bulletin includes illustrations and troubleshooting instructions but no repair instructions.
Bulletin SI B11 02 08
GENERAL MOTORS: 2006-07 Chevrolet Avalanche, Silverado, Suburban, Tahoe, GMC Cierra, Yukon with 4.8L or 5.3L engine (VIN V, T Z)
SUBJECT: Excessive oil consumption may be caused by a nick in the valve stem. The bulletin includes part numbers, illustrations and instructions for inspecting the valve stems. In some cases the damage can be visible without removing the valve springs. However before beginning this inspection, the bulletin specifies referring to Corporate Bulletin 01-06-01-011F for guidelines or measuring oil consumption.
Bulletin 07-06-01-007C
BMW: 2005-08 3-Series (E90, E92, E93 M3)
SUBJECT: Rough idle, rough running, misfire and/or lack of power may be caused by a blocked idle-air circuit. In some cases, the MIL will illuminate and code 2B23 will be stored in fault code memory. In extreme cases, the PCM may enter limp-home mode. The cause is a deterioration of the rubber hoses in the idle-air circuit. Parts of the hose can break loose from inside and clog the idle-air actuator or one of the idle strips on each engine bank. If this happens, it may be necessary to replace the idle strips. The bulletin includes a parts list and inspection instructions but no repair instructions.
Bulletin SI B13 05 08
ACURA: 2007-08 TL Type S
SUBJECT: MIL illumination with P0171 or P0174 indicates a fuel system running lean. The problem is most likely caused by faulty PCM programming. The bulletin lists the revised programs for each model year and transmission.
Bulletin 08-043
TOYOTA: 2005-08 Tacoma Hybrid with 1GR-FE Engine
Subject: An oil leak near the front of the engine may be coming from the front timing chain cover. The leak will most likely appear on Bank 1 where the head, block and timing cover meet. The bulletin is for information only and has no instructions or part numbers.
Bulletin 0326-08
HONDA: 2006-08 Civic
SUBJECT: Coolant leaks to the point of overheating may be caused by a cracked cylinder block. The bulletin includes color illustrations and instructions for inspecting the block, indicating where the cranks are most likely to occur. It also states a pressure test of the cooling system will help locate the cracks faster. The bulletin includes a complete parts list for replacing the short block but no repair instructions.
Bulletin 08-044

HONDA: 2003-05 Element, 2004-05 Civic
Subject: Overheating and/or poor heater performance may be caused by a restricted radiator or heater core. The manufacturer has identified a number of vehicles shipped with contamination in the cooling system that could cause radiator/heater core corrosion or mineral accumulation inside the cooling system. In some cases, the repair may be as simple as replacing the coolant, or the repair may include replacing all of the cooling system components and hoses. Two separate bulletins have been issued (one for Civic, one for Element) and each includes a list of affected VINs, illustrations, part numbers and repair instructions
Bulletin 08-097 (Element) and 08-098 (Civic)
HONDA: 2001 Accord, Civic
Subject: A safety recall has been launched to replace the driver side airbag inflator. The manufacturer has identified 4500 vehicles with an airbag inflator that may develop excess pressure during airbag deployment, causing the casing to rupture and send shrapnel into the vehicle cabin. The bulletin includes a complete list of affected VINs, repair kit numbers, illustrations and repair instructions.
Safety Recall 08-093
HONDA: 2005-06 CR-V
SUBJECT: MIL illumination with P0128 indicates a cooling system malfunction. The problem may be caused by faulty PCM software.
