This new CCC Accumark add-on feature – accessible via CCC’s flagship solution, CCC Pathways – provides a clear and efficient channel of information instead of having to physically cross-reference these guidelines through printed manuals or searching e-mails, says CCC. Insurance companies can provide custom guidelines to repair facilities using CCC Accumark, as well as being able to implement guideline changes as they occur.

Access to these guidelines was an important consideration for Oregon-based Lithia Motors when it made the decision to add CCC Accumark to its portfolio of CCC solutions. Lithia has 17 locations operating in 13 states.

“We have been using solutions from CCC to help improve our communication process with the insurance companies,” says Lithia’s Director of Body Shop Operations, Craig Jesmer. “Now, with insurers sharing their estimating guidelines with us via CCC Accumark, we look forward to improvements in our monthly insurance indicator reports, as well as in the time it takes to get an order approved for payment.”

“Those involved in the auto-physical damage repair process are very excited about this new feature, because it goes to the core of the cross-industry goal and one of our principles – making it easier to do business on both sides of the equation,” adds CCC’s Senior Vice President of Marketing and Product Management, Debbie Day. “The new CCC Accumark solution removes communication barriers, enabling insurer-established guidelines to be shared with their appraisers and direct repair program participants when the estimate is being created in CCC Pathways. Through improved communication, repairers can create estimates that are more aligned with insurance company expectations, ultimately taking unnecessary cycles out of the estimate review process.”
