June 28, 2012—Nearly 2,000 exhibitors have secured space for the 2012 SEMA Show in Las Vegas.

The number of exhibitors in various segments of the show has already surpassed the total number of exhibitors on display at last year’s show, according to a news release_notes. Segments with confirmed presenters include Hot Rod Alley, Racing and Performance, Restoration Marketplace, and Wheels and Accessories.

“After the three-week space selection, we are more excited than ever for the upcoming SEMA Show,” said Peter MacGillivray, vice president of events and communications for SEMA. “Exhibitors have great optimism for the show. They have made it clear that Las Vegas is the place they want to be in October, and their plans are already well underway to showcase their newest innovations. We’re looking forward to working with them during the next few months and unveiling a successful show this year.”
