Education Foundation Awarded High Fiscal Responsibility Rating

Aug. 7, 2014

Aug. 7, 2014—Charity Navigator, an independent evaluator of charities in the U.S., awarded the Collision Repair Education Foundation the highest-possible rating for its fiscal management and commitment to accountability and transparency, the Education Foundation announced Wednesday.

Approximately $0.90 of every dollar the Education Foundation brings in is used to benefit collision repair students, programs and instructors, according to the organization's press release. Since 2009, the foundation has given over $20 million in products and financial awards to beneficiaries.

“We are proud of this recognition as it displays the organization’s financial responsibility and hard work towards supporting the technical education of the future professionals of the industry,” said Brandon Eckenrode, the Education Foundation’s director of development. “To be listed on Charity Navigator with a select group of other noteworthy organizations, this will display to both current and prospective donors that our organization is one of the best in the country.”
