Wheel Abrasives

July 30, 2010

DeWalt Power Tool offers a line of Metalworking Coated Abrasives and Wire Wheel Abrasives. The coated abrasives can be used on steel, stainless steel, paint and other surfaces to prepare for fabrication and for cleaning, finishing or polishing. The coated abrasives feature the zirconia cool cut, which reduces heat in the work piece, and the XP3 ceramic discs, which make it durable. The line of wire wheels is ideal for welding, cleaning, rust removal, surface contamination removal and prepping surfaces for paint. The range includes two levels of performance: high and extended. Extended performance wheels use a higher tensile strength wire, have more wires and last 75 percent longer than high performance wheels.
