I-CAR will debut its new live demo course, Blueprinting Process and Damage Discovery (BLU01) during the Technology Showcase at NACE. Live demo course are designed to provide a more interactive training experience.
Blueprinting Process and Damage Discovery is an interactive course that defines the blueprinting process. Blueprinting is a process that helps improve repair quality while streamlining efficiencies by using a standardized approach to collision repair planning. The course goes beyond the disassembly of damaged parts and writing damage reports to help students uncover hidden damage that effects the repair process. Demonstrations include a number of quick checks and other techniques that support the process. Implementation tips are also reviewed. During this Live Demo course, the instructor uses an actual vehicle to demonstrate technique and engage students in the learning process.
“This is the seventh consecutive year that I-CAR will bring the Technology Showcase to NACE, but the first time we have been able to bring an I-CAR class to the show floor, Jason Bartanen, I-CAR Technical Director said. "We believe that this year’s offering will be very valuable to attendees. They will be able to witness firsthand how the blueprinting process can minimize supplements and increase productivity in a collision repair facility We are also thrilled to add “Blueprinting” to the Live Demo course category. With the addition of this course, I-CAR is further demonstrating its commitment to developing courses that are not only relevant, but also engaging for the student.”
Completion of this course will satisfy Gold Class business requirements for Non-Structural Technicians looking to fulfill New Technology requirements and ProLevel 3 training requirements for Estimators and Auto Physical Damage Appraisers. The four credit hour course will be offered at a special NACE premiere price of $100 – a savings of $56 for standard pricing.
