The Automotive Parts Remanufacturers Association's (APRA) Chief Technical Officer, Mark Kothe, announced recently that the association would hold their first Regional Electrical Clinic in Quebec City, Canada on October 14-15, 2011.

recently that the association would hold their first
Regional Electrical Clinic in Quebec City, Canada on
October 14-15, 2011.
Kothe stated, “The driving force behind holding this
clinic is Steve Venne of Atelier Dynamo who had
inquired several months ago about APRA providing some
training to rebuilders/remanufacturers in his
part of Canada.”
The clinic will be held at the Loews Hotel Le Concorde
in Quebec City and the program will feature the
following speakers and presentations:
Steve Venne will discuss how to select the
correct product for vehicle applications;
Maurice Cote of Leece Neville will give a
presentation;
Al Steadman of Litens will discuss alternator
pulleys;
Dan Smith of Boston Auto Electric will talk
about remanufacturing solenoids;
Carl Sickles of Exide will give an update on
the ever evolving batteries of today, and
There will be a mini-exposition for suppliers
who wish to display literature and small parts.
Kothe added, “We’re looking for a nice crowd of
rebuilders who have never been exposed to the benefits
and services of the Automotive Parts Remanufacturers
Association.”
