Snap-on has added a new VERUS™ training module to its Web site to help professional automotive technicians learn to use the many features and capabilities associated with Snap-on’s newest diagnostic platform. This new VERUS Level Two course builds upon the foundation of the VERUS Level One introductory training module.
Upon completion of the Level Two course, technicians will understand the multiple roles that VERUS performs in the diagnostic routine, including scan diagnostics, component test verification, troubleshooting and repair management.
The VERUS Level Two Training Solutions module covers:
• Detailed Menu Navigation
• Vehicle ID Menu Navigation
• Scanner Software Navigation
• Data Manager - Saving, Retrieving and Reviewing Data
• Setting Up a Repair Information System
• Functional Tests
• Global OBD Overview
• Using Troubleshooter
“In order for technicians to utilize the full value of their VERUS diagnostic tool, our training modules offer the opportunity to learn over time as their experience grows and their needs change,” says Al McCaskey, manager of customer care for Snap-on Diagnostics. “We give technicians the ability to learn at their own comfort level and to review at their convenience. Technicians can start, stop and revisit each module as often as they like, free-of-charge.”
