GearWrench® recently introduced handled files, hooks and picks in a variety of sizes, shapes and configurations to its hand tool line. The products feature the GearWrench handle, which is recognized throughout the automotive and industrial sectors for its ergonomic comfort and support.   

The new handheld files from GearWrench feature tool grade steel, which provides superior cutting capabilities. The files are used for deburring, rounding, welding and removing rough edges.   

Four- and six-piece sets of handled files are available in a variety of sizes including standard round, flat, bastard, half-round, and 90-degree. They are now available through professional tool distributors and mobile drivers and retail for $29.99 to $49.99.

"GearWrench continues to build out its hand tool line with the addition of handled files, hooks and picks," says Marc Mangus, senior brand manager for GearWrench. The handled hooks and picks feature a range of unique shapes designed to leverage and pull parts, springs and cotter pins. The products solve common user problems, such as damage done to the door when removing panel buttons. Straight, curves and scraper sizes are now available in different set configurations including a three-piece standard hook and pick set, four-piece body trim pad set, four-piece mini hook and pick set, and a seven-piece master set. Handled hook and pick sets can be purchased through mobile drivers and professional tool distributors and retail for $29.99 to $49.99.
