The California / Nevada / Arizona Automotive Wholesalers Association (CAWA) has been notified by Akebono Brake Corporation that “it is our pleasure to announce Akebono’s increasing financial support to the CAWA organization," according to Brand Manager Laura Sullivan.
“Akebono has been a strong and participatory member in CAWA for several years and we are pleased they see the value we bring to promoting and protecting the interests of the aftermarket industry out west, says Rodney Pierini, CAWA’s President & CEO. "Ms. Sullivan told us that Akebono 'will continue to support CAWA’s legislative actions in areas such as 'Right to Repair,' and they understand how much value our efforts have affected the automotive aftermarket industry already and therefore, precisely how important our involvement is for the future,” Pierini adds.
“Akebono not only financially contributes to what we do on behalf of the industry but they fully participate in the association’s leadership with the active involvement of Borise Cota, who is Akebono’s Western Regional Sales Manager. He serves the Association on its Manufacturers Advisory Council” Pierini continues. “Mr. Cota has been a real asset to our Manufacturers Advisory Council and the leadership of the Association."
