MOTORSPORTS GM Performance Parts LSX Shootout Nears
DETROIT (Sept. 1, 2007) - The last stop of the NMCA Edelbrock Muscle Car Nationals will be in Memphis, TN, and will play host to the Inaugural General Motors Performance Parts LSX Shootout. Held as a part of the Nitto Tire NMCA World Finals at Memphis Motorsport Park Oct. 11-14, the event is still weeks away, but the momentum is building fast.
The Shootout is expected to be one of the largest gatherings of LS-powered drag race and show cars in the country. Hundreds of heads-up, index and true street racing enthusiasts, all relying on LS power, will compete for special LSX Shootout car show awards and winners jackets on both Saturday and Sunday. Many of these competitors are also planning to join the LSX Shootout Tours that depart from Chicago and Dallas on Oct. 11 for the event.
