Sponsored by the company's Technical Education Center (TEC) in St. Louis, MO, the sweepstakes is open to any automotive technician, machinist or parts professional who attends a 2006 TEC workshop in St. Louis, an evening field seminar in the United States or Canada or who enrolls via mail. TEC delivered its 2005 sweepstakes grand prize - a 1966 Chevrolet El Camino SS - to winner Brad LaRue, a Ponca City,

The street-ready Chevelle Malibu being offered in the 2006 sweepstakes features a fully updated engine, four-speed transmission, power steering and restored body and interior. Technicians attending 2006 TEC workshops in St. Louis will help complete a broad range of technology updates on the vehicle, with the addition of new internal engine components, gaskets, steering and suspension components, U-joints, wheel bearings and seals, fuel delivery components, spark plugs, spark plug wires, wiper blades, brake components and headlamps.
