SAN DIEGO - Audatex North America has signed a five-year agreement with the Independent Automotive Damage Appraisers Association (IADA), which has more than 600 service locations serving the U.S. market and more than 400 automobile insurance providers.
Under the agreement, independent appraisers with the IADA will continue to use Audatex software to assess vehicle damage and provide repair estimates for collision repair facilities and automobile insurers.
Financial terms were not disclosed. IADA independent appraisers use Audatex solutions to evaluate auto damage and provide estimates for automobile insurers and the collision repair facilities that will perform the necessary work on the vehicle. IADA independent appraisers also receive assignments via Audatex software.
“The contract renewal with IADA reflects ongoing industry confidence in Audatex solutions that deliver the most accurate information to our customers,” said John Kotsopoulos, Managing Director for Audatex North America.

This summer, Audatex will unveil “intelligent” graphics as part of its flagship Audatex Estimating product. The three-dimensional color images that can be rotated on the computer screen are designed to further improve auto
claims and collision repair accuracy through the latest available technology. Audatex is developing the upgraded graphics through its global network of partners and five database development centers.
