Michelin's has started airing the fourth installment of its "The Right Tire Changes Everything" television advertising campaign.

The new spot features the Michelin Man in an animated world of mobility in which inhabitants navigate heavy rain and slippery roads as they are assaulted by mischievous raindrops. As an ambassador on behalf of the tire maker, the Michelin Man comes to the aid of motorists in trouble, replacing their tires with Michelins that he pulls from his body, helping drivers to avoid disaster. The new ad features the Primacy MXM4 tire, which demonstrates a braking distance of up to 29 feet shorter in wet conditions than a leading competitor.

“The fourth piece of this campaign allows us to reinforce the Michelin brand message by showing yet another way Michelin tires can offer consumers unparalleled performances in the industry,” says Don Byrd, vice president of marketing. “Wet-driving performance is a top priority for our consumers, and Primacy tires deliver that performance and offer drivers peace of mind. The ability to stop nearly 30 feet shorter can make all the difference, especially in rainy weather conditions.”
