Aug. 1, 2016—Organizers of the 2016 NACE/CARS Expo & Conference announced Friday that the California Autobody Association (CAA) will host two key meetings during the event.
The first meeting, on Aug. 11 at 10:30 a.m., will be a Bureau of Automotive Repair (BAR) Panel. Its topics will range from paint and materials estimating to work authorization under special circumstances. The second meeting will feature Dave Jones, California insurance commissioner, providing an industry update and a report on new regulations and trends and how they will affect shops. The two meetings are open to all event attendees.
"Because of California's size and population, the state addresses many key regulations," said Dan Risley, ASA president and executive director. "Many of the issues that California deals with can impact the rest of the country. The programs CAA will offer during NACE/CARS 2016 will not only be of interest to California businesses, but to shop owners from around the country and the world."
