Nov. 17, 2017—Facebook recently introduced a new feature that will allow business owners to integrate Facebook Messenger into their businesses' websites, according to a Small Biz Trends report.

The feature, Customer Chat, is a plugin that will allow businesses to manage live chats with customers either through Facebook or the business's website. This plugin is especially beneficial for today's customers that are always on the go or on their mobile devices, since Facebook Messenger can be accessed via phone, tablet or desktop computer.

Additionally, businesses will reap the benefits because they can track and easily log their conversations with customers and they can use Messenger's payment features too.

The plugin is currently in a closed testing phase.
