Geri and Jerry Kottschade have been awarded Abra Franchisee of the Year, according to a press release.
Owners of Jerry’s Abra in Mankato, Minnesota, Geri and Jerry Kottschade have been part of the Abra network since 2015. Upon joining, the business came up with innovative approaches such as creating a customer-focused environment to help clients feel at ease, and creating cooperative relationships with insurance companies.
Geri and Jerry Kottschade have made active efforts to be part of their community by attending networking events, local career fairs, and partnering with the Mankato MoonDogs baseball team to support local families affected by Alzheimer’s and Dementia.
Additionally, Geri Kottschade is one of the founders of the Women’s Industry Network (WIN), which her own daughter has now become involved with as well.
The Abra Franchisee of the Year award was presented at the Driven Brands U.S. collision repair joint conference, running September 28 through 30 at the Gaylord Palms Resort and Convention Center in Kissimmee, Florida. The award presentation took place during a gala event where Abra, CARSTAR, and Fix Auto USA franchise partners were present to celebrate the occasion.
“We are amazed with this award,” said Geri Kottschade. “It is truly an honor for our entire team to be recognized. It's an incredible cap to a long, rewarding career. We have a retirement party coming up so we'll definitely celebrate then.”
