Crash Champions has set a new record in funds raised for Make-A-Wish Illinois following its recent golf fundraising event, according to a press release.
The Charity Golf Outing event held on September 13 took place at Bolingbrook Golf Club in Bolingbrook, Illinois. Present at the fundraiser were leadership team members from Crash Champions, insurance partners, vendors, and community leaders.
With funds being raised through entry fees, sponsorships, a silent auction, and raffle tickets, the event raised $165,000 for Make-A-Wish Illinois–the highest total raised since the event first launched 10 years ago. In addition, the event was the single largest community fundraiser that has been held for Make-A-Wish Illinois.
“We believe in the importance of giving back to our communities, and Make-A-Wish's work exemplifies the kind of positive change we aspire to create,” said Crash Champions Founder and CEO Matt Ebert. “It is a wonderful organization that believes in the power of making lifelong wishes a reality for children battling critical illnesses.”
