Mitchell Cloud Estimating Releases New Feature
Mitchell has released a new feature in its Cloud Estimating that automates scan and calibration detection while estimating, according to a press release.
The new function will automatically detect a completed scan or calibration and provide the ability to add it as a line on the collision damage appraisal.
The feature will be able to identify diagnostic procedures performed on a vehicle with a Mitchell Diagnostics device and will index the related scan and calibration documents associated with a claim.
It will then provide a list of available scan and calibration operations related to the vehicle in the estimating system, where estimators can select diagnostic lines and update the appraisal with accurate operations, labor times, and prices.
“Diagnostic scanning and calibration are becoming a standard part of collision repair,” said Jack Rozint, senior vice president of repair sales at Mitchell. “By enhancing our Diagnostics as a Service platform and more tightly integrating it with Mitchell Cloud Estimating, we can provide collision facilities with an end-to-end solution designed to efficiently manage repairs, documentation and billing."
