Report: Audi to Cut Jobs

According to a report, Audi is planning to cut 9,500 jobs within the next few years.

Nov. 26, 2019—According to a report, Audi will cut 9,500 jobs by 2025, per Reuters.

An Audi spokesman had said that talks with labor representatives on cutting costs were making progress.

The  job cuts reportedly stem from an effort to adopt production to the e-mobility era and achieve cost savings. The automaker said in the report that cost savings would be achieved by 2029.
