ABRA Hosts Surprise Vehicle Donation

March 22, 2017

March 22, 2017―ABRA Auto Body & Glass recently honored U.S. Naval veteran Anetra Christian by surprising her with the gift of a 2014 Ford Focus in Roswell, Ga., in conjunction with the Recycled Rides program. Christian had been selected by the Veterans Empowerment Organization of Georgia as the recipient of the vehicle.

Christian’s mother had passed away from diabetes-related complications just three weeks prior, as noted in an article by the North Fulton Neighbor. Christian had also endured a recent stretch of homelessness.

“I can’t believe this is happening to me,” Christian told the North Fulton Neighbor, upon receiving her new vehicle on St. Patrick’s Day.

ABRA partnered with Esurance Insurance Company and the National Auto Body Council’s Recycled Rides program for the vehicle donation.
