NASCAR star
Carl Edwards won the Federated
Auto Parts 300 Nationwide race held July 23 at
the Nashville Superspeedway and Federated
customer Jeff Crissman, a
Federated customer, was the big winner of
the custom Federated car - a new 2011
Camaro.
“Every year, as part of the festivities
surrounding the Federated 300, we award a
custom Federated vehicle to one of our
customers,” said Phil Moore, senior vice
president of Federated Auto Parts. “We are
thrilled to be able to present this car to
Jeff. We congratulate him and thank him for
being a loyal Federated associate.”
Crissman, who works at Frank’s Coach and
Carriage in Broadview Heights, Ohio, was the
contest winner in the Federated Camaro giveaway
held as part of the pre-race hospitality events
associated with the annual Federated 300. Over
1,200 people attended the race as guests of
Federated.
The Federated Auto Parts 300 was televised live
nationally on ESPN. Edwards captured the
checker flag and Federated spokesman Kenny
Wallace rounded out the top 10. In addition to
an exciting night of racing, Federated guests
and Nashville-area race fans enjoyed a post-
race concert by the Eli Young Band.
