CPFilms Inc. is taking its window film and making it block only what motorists want – UV rays but not electronic signal transmissions.

The company's automotive window film, the LLumar® CTX™ Film Series, utilizes Ceramatrix™ Advanced Technology to provide UV absorption and heat rejection without blocking electronic signal transmissions.

"In a world filled with wireless devices such as GPS, mobile phones and satellite radio receivers, it's more important than ever to ensure that automotive window films provide the highest possible protection without disabling connectivity," says Mark Gershenson, CPFilms' Director of Product Marketing. "As part of the LLumar brand, our CTX Film Series is backed by more than 50 years of technology expertise and service. We are pleased to introduce this innovative new product that incorporates leading-edge technology to improve the performance of our signal enabling films."

LLumar CTX Film blocks up to 99 percent of harmful UV rays and provides up to 60 percent heat rejection, the maximum of any LLumar signal enabling film, creating a more comfortable environment for passengers and protecting a vehicle's interior appearance, the company states.

The product is available in a soft charcoal color that enhances vehicle appearance inside and out while providing a shade range from 5 to 50 percent, these new films add privacy for passengers and valuables while reducing glare by up to 94 percent.

An advanced scratch-resistant coating and built-in UV absorbers increase the durability and life of the film. All CTX Films from LLumar come with a limited lifetime manufacturer's warranty against cracking, peeling or bubbling, common problems associated with inferior film products.

Available only through a certified LLumar dealer, the film's heat forming capabilities ensure fast and easy installation, enhancing a vehicle's appearance with the long-lasting quality of professionally installed LLumar CTX Film.

"CPFilms is committed to providing the window film industry's best products, technical expertise and support services," says Gershenson. "Using Ceramatrix Advanced Technology, LLumar CTX offers a superior signal enabled film that stylishly provides durable protection, added security, and enhanced vehicle comfort."
