Accuride Corp. is introducing a line of OEM-quality chrome wheel accessories featuring ABS chrome front and rear wheel hub and nut covers designed to fit most class 7 and 8 trucks, trailers and recreational vehicles.
“Unlike competing product, Accuride’s wheel accessories are manufactured exclusively from automotive-grade polymers,” says Rick Schomer, senior vice president of marketing and sales. “This material enhances heat resistance, increases durability, offers a long-lasting shine and allows us to offer an industry-leading two-year warranty,” he points out.
Available in three styles – including a blank center, Accuride logo center or Chrome Shop Mafia logo center – the wheel caps are 50 percent larger than similar products, according to Schomer.
“With 200 percent more chrome plating surface, drivers will easily be able to achieve a bold look,” he says.
“However, looks and durability aren’t the only innovative features,” Schomer continues. “We designed the covers so that the center cap is removable, allowing for DOT inspection without removing the entire cover. And, to protect the driver’s investment, the accessories are based on a unique theft deterrent design.”
After recently emerging from bankruptcy, the company’s stock is now trading on the Over-the-Counter Bulletin Board (OTCBB) under the symbol ACUZ – which replaces its previous market designation of AURDQ.
