Automotive Service Association (ASA) members now have closer ties with their customers through a member benefit established with RepairPal.

David Sturtz, RepairPal CEO, says the new agreement offering ASA members a 10 percent discount on the company’s Appointment Plus services is like giving RepairPal a seal of approval for its services.

“You give some consumer information that they can’t get anywhere else makes them feel comfortable with the interaction they have with the technician or service writer,” Sturtz says. “Once they’re comfortable with that, they’re more likely to schedule an appointment and be satisfied with the work.”

RepairPal says AppointmentsPlus is a leading online customer acquisition solution for automotive service and repair shops. AppointmentsPlus brings in new customers and grows automotive businesses by promoting local repair shops to consumers who need service on their vehicles.

“ASA is a national organization that seems to be respected by everyone we’ve run across and they’re very professional and they’ve been a pleasure to work with,” Sturtz adds. “It’s been a goal of ours to have an affiliation with them because we felt it would really demonstrate that we have an excellent product and that we can really help high quality repair shops and dealerships. That’s been something that’s been very exciting to have happen.”

RepairPal covers the entire nation and supports more than 100 of the most common services for the top 40 car makes. AppointmentsPlus targets consumers based on their car model, location and service needed, and connects them with a local quality service or repair shop.

“The association is pleased to offer ASA members one more way to cost-effectively acquire new customers through our new partnership with RepairPal,” says Ron Pyle, ASA president and chief staff executive. “We’re always striving to help consumers find our members’ shops to keep their businesses going. By working with innovative companies such as RepairPal, we’re ensuring our members an even greater chance of reaching the motoring public in need of quality service and repair.”
