TBC’s tire and service outlets will be raising funds for the Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation throughout the month of July. Customers will have the opportunity to donate at Tire Kingdom, National Tire and Battery, Merchant’s Tire and Auto Centers and Big O Tires.
Contributors will receive a personalized paper lemon to post at the store to show their support for the fight against cancer. Online donations can be made at www.alexslemonade.org/stands/16823.

All 1,221 of TBC’s automotive service centers are participating in the nationwide fundraising drive.
Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation emerged from the front yard lemonade stand of cancer patient Alexandra “Alex” Scott, who died in 2004 at age 8. When she was just 4, Alex announced that she wanted to hold a lemonade stand to raise money to help find a cure for all children with cancer. Since then the foundation bearing her name, a registered 501(c)3 charity, has raised more than $25 million to fund 100-plus research projects.
