Toyo has launched an initiative called Toyo ADS – which stands for Advertising Development System – an Internet-based program that enables the company’s dealers to create their own unique ads for newspaper, print, direct mail and in-store materials.

The endeavor “makes it possible for any dealer with a computer, Internet access and a printer to make first-rate ads to promote their own business,” according to Gary Kirschke, director of advertising and sales promotion.

“Toyo ADS is an effective and convenient online resource which we provide for our dealers to enhance their marketing efforts,” says Kirschke “This tool allows Toyo Tires dealers to create first-class ads on their own computers, while easily tying-in with national advertising campaigns.”

The password-protected site features a step-by-step ad-builder with customizable templates. Dealers can create your own print ads using branded items, product photography and logos along with your own company logo and contact information.

The templates also include notations of value-added specials such as a tune-up, brake inspection, oil change and wheel alignment. Personalized ads are saved on the site and can be easily updated at anytime with new products, prices, sizes and sales promotions.

ADS also features pre-written radio scripts, which dealers simply download and edit to include your particular information. You can also use the scripts as a guide for creating original radio advertising.

In addition to print and radio campaigns, Toyo television ads can be viewed on the site, which includes ordering instructions. Available on broadcast-quality Beta SP tapes, the 25-second commercials leave room for a five-second, personalized dealer tag. They feature specific Toyo tire families as well as general branding messages such as “Number One.”

Dealers can learn how to use the ADS system with online tutorials located at toyoads.com, or by contacting company regional sales managers.
