Edge Products, based in Ogden, Utah, was founded in 1999 by two brothers who were diesel-engine enthusiasts. They wanted to provide other owners of diesel-powered vehicles more power and torque and they did so by designing an inline performance module using the ECU to optimize engine performance.

Today, Edge Products has more than 100 employees and offers more than 90 different products. Edge is included on the Inc. list of the 500 fastest-growing companies and recognized as Utah's fourth-fastest-growing company from 1999 to 2004. In March 2006, Edge Products was purchased and became part of the MSD Performance Group.

The company's 32,000-sq.-ft. Ogden headquarters is more than a high-performance equipment manufacturing facility; it also resembles an ultra-clean, ultra-modern computer facility (which it is). Edge Products uses the latest technology in both its operations and R&D departments. In addition to state-of-the-art CAD-CAM design software, the company also has three chassis dynos used to ensure all performance-improvement claims can be duplicated.
Edge offers a complete line of power-train-programming products, but perhaps is best known for three principal product lines: Juice with Attitude, Evolution, and Trail Jammer kits for Jeep vehicles.

Edge describes Juice with Attitude as its flagship product and versions are available for all late-model domestic diesel-powered trucks. It includes an in-line module that fits under the hood (the Juice) and a display module mounted in the truck's cab (the Attitude). The system can add up to 350 lb.-ft. of torque and 150 horsepower.

Evolution is a programmer available for both gasoline and diesel applications. Edge says this system can be installed in minutes with no tools required and can add up to 210 lb.-ft. of torque and 100 horsepower. Evolution also includes a dash-mount pod designed to match the factory look.

Trail Jammer is Edge's performance kit for 4.0-liter Jeep vehicles and includes a module, throttle body, and cold-air intake system. Trail Jammer is designed to improve throttle response and provide better drivability for Jeep owners.
