Here's your opportunity to win a modified domestic full-size 4x4 pickup.

Project Parts Chaser is on the starting line. Over upcoming issues of Styling & Performance, readers will see this full-size domestic 4x4 pickup truck transformed from stock to hot using key aftermarket components.

When Project Parts Chaser is complete, some lucky jobber, retailer, independent service provider (ISP), or dealer will win this one-of-a-kind modified truck in a special sweepstakes. It is the first time in more than 15 years a sweepstakes targeting the automotive aftermarket has been held.

The Project Parts Chaser series begins in the next issue of Styling & Performance with a description of the base vehicle and presentation of baseline performance numbers. As the project moves along, you can measure the effectiveness of each modification and track the base vehicle's progress. We are calling on our Styling & Performance Editorial Advisory Board and those of you in the automotive aftermarket industry for suggestions. When complete, Project Parts Chaser will accurately represent the status of your late-model 4x4 truck customers in the marketplace.

Since Styling & Performance targets you—automobile aftermarket professionals and the lucky winner of the full-size domestic 4x4 truck—Project Parts Chaser features will be presented in a business-to-business tone. Each vehicle modification will include professional installation information and profit potential. In addition to the how-to aspect, each modification story will also teach readers how to grow their business and make more money by selling or selling and installing the featured products.

4 Wheel Parts Wholesalers, Inc. has agreed to be the Project Parts Chaser installation sponsor. The skilled personnel from 4 Wheel Parts will handle installation duties with Styling & Performance editors looking over their shoulders and shooting photographs.

Advertisers can also win and get in on the ground floor of this project. Styling & Performance magazine offers five different sponsorship levels on a first-come, first-served basis: Presenting, Charter, Associate, Distribution, and Product.

The top-of-the-line sponsorship level is the Presenting Sponsor and is limited to one advertiser. The Presenting Sponsor's logo will be applied to the vehicle (the largest size, the most prominent position). The Presenting Sponsor will also receive spread ad placements in Styling & Performance magazine in 2007 and up to six full-page ads in Motor Age magazine or Hot Auto Products magazine, Auto Body Repair News (ABRN), and Aftermarket Business.

The Presenting Sponsor will also be assigned a unique 800 number for lead tracking. This 800 number is included in the ad placements and the sponsor's product section on Search-Autoparts.com. The 800 number is theirs to keep in 2007, 2008, and beyond.

As part of the Styling & Performance Internet Connection, the Presenting Sponsor also receives the Platinum Web Package, which includes a six-month leaderboard of www.search-autoparts.com (728x90) sponsorship, six-month Electronic Styling & Performance (ES&P) e-newsletter (468x60) sponsorship, six-month sponsorship of e-newsletter messages, and a six-month directory listing (120x240) sponsorship.

In addition, the Presenting Sponsor package includes a two-page profile of your company (with photography) to be featured in a 2007 issue of Styling & Performance magazine.

The Presenting Sponsor package also includes becoming a featured vendor on DCi's CatalogRack system and an applied credit toward inclusion of the sponsor's universal parts data in DCi's CatalogRack database.

And, of course, the Presenting Sponsor's parts will be installed on Project Parts Chaser. This coverage includes a detailed story on the ease of installation and inclusion in the Project Parts Chaser contact list.

But wait, there's more. The Presenting Sponsor's parts will be featured in a one-minute video created for the product look-up section on Search-Autoparts.com. The Presenting Sponsor also receives unlimited inclusion in the "Product Parts Chaser Coupon Book," designed to provide the winner of the truck with a "sample" of products to order and sell.

The remaining Charter, Associate, Distribution, and Product/Program sponsors receive similar, but slightly scaled-down, benefits.
