Pierre Jambon has been named vice president of Goodyear’s off-highway tire division. In his new role he will also run the company’s global aviation operations along with the North American racing and motorcycle/ATV units.
Since 2006 Jambon had served as general manager of the aviation department, overseeing the development, manufacture and marketing of aircraft tires for use as original equipment, replacement and military applications.
Prior to coming to Goodyear in 2003, Jambon, 50, was vice president of finance planning and analysis for GKN Aerospace Services in Chicago, where he was responsible for the company’s operating planning processes and evaluating its business performance. He received his undergraduate degree in business administration from Arizona State University and an MBA from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles. He lives in Akron, Ohio.
John Cavanaugh, who had been the off-highway division’s vice president since 2008, has been promoted to vice president of finance for global procurement.
