General Tire’s “Ballistic” BJ Baldwin will be driving his No. 1 SCORE Trophy Truck through the arduous 2,350-meter circuit at the first-ever BAJA 300 Powerdays July 24-26 in Lausitz, Germany.

Beginning with the start of the event on July 25, race fans and followers can log onto www.twitter.com/teamgt for up-to-the-minute Baldwin progress reports.

The Baja 300 Powerdays are the brainchild of ex-European Rally Champion Armin Schwarz; they feature a blend of off-road, rally-cross and free-style racing in a single mega-event, according to Dana Zamalloa, General’s public relations and communications manager.

“We’re proud and excited that BJ was asked to participate in this unique event that brings off-road racing to a totally new audience for General Tire,” Zamalloa says. “With BJ’s aggressive character and impressive driving skills, we’re certain he’ll put on a great show for the European spectators on our General Grabber Competition tires.”
