Toyo is debuting 18 additional tire sizes appealing to the performance passenger car and light truck segments.
Six new sizes of the low-profile Toyo Proxes 4 ultra-high performance tire have been recently been added to the lineup. Featuring W-shaped unidirectional tread, they include: 225/50ZR18, 215/45ZR18, 235/45ZR18, 255/35ZR19, 275/35ZR20 and a 245/30ZR22. Fitments for sport coupes and sedans range from Honda Accords to BMW 7 Series in OE and plus sizes.
The flagship Proxes T1R ultra-high performance passenger car tire now has three new sizes added to its offerings, including a 275/40ZR19, 265/35ZR19 and 285/30ZR21. Ideal for high-end sport machines, the new sizes add performance and style for vehicles from the Audi S6, Nissan 350Z, to the Mercedes S63 and S65 AMG, according to the company.
Multiple winner in the SCCA Solo Nationals Street Touring Category and back-to-back Formula Drift champion, the Proxes R1R extreme performance tire is available in four new sizes for cars such as the Honda Fit, Mazda MX-5 Miata, Scion tC, Lexus IS300 and other performance cars. The new sizes are225/45ZR15, 225/45ZR16, 215/45ZR17 and 245/35ZR17.
Also broadening its spectrum of fitments is the Proxes R888 DOT-approved competition tire. The Official Tire of Speed World Challenge and of the SCCA National Spec Miata class, a new 225/45R13 size has been added for the dedicated enthusiast, racer and track driver.
Light truck and SUV owners benefit with new additions to the Open Country line of tires. A new P275/60R20 H/T is a premium upgrade for the Dodge RAM 1500, Infinti QX56, Nissan’s Armada and the Titan. A new Open Country A/T in a P255/75R17 fits Jeep Wranglers and the Lincoln Navigator 4X4. Off-road enthusiasts will find two new M/T sizes, such as a 31X10.50R15LT for medium size pickups and an LT285/70R16 for plus-size applications.
