Bridgestone’s Dueler tire is the exclusive standard equipment fitment on Nissan’s 2009 Infiniti FX.

The Dueler H/P 92A in size P265/60R18 109V comes with the V6-powered FX35 and FX35 AWD while the 390-horsepower, V8-powered FX50 is shod with Dueler H/L 400 tires in size P265/45R21 104V. This H/L 400 is the first-ever application of a 21-inch tire on Infiniti’s sporty crossover.

Dueler H/P 92A tires sized Size P265/50R20 106V are also available as optional equipment for the V6-powered 2009 Infiniti FX35 and FX35 AWD.

The company says the tires present “an aggressive look and excellent handling” while providing “a refined, comfortable ride.”

A Bridgestone Blizzak DM-Z3 winter tire for the Infiniti FX is also available in all three original equipment sizes.

The 2009 Infiniti FX is now available in dealer showrooms nationwide. Three other Infiniti vehicles also come standard with Bridgestone tires, including the G35 Sedan, G35 Coupe and M45.

In addition, Bridgestone’s Potenza RE050A tires are original equipment on the 2009 Cadillac STS luxury touring sedan. Buyers of the V6 and V8 models who select the optional Cadillac Luxury Performance package can “experience the exceptional handling and response” of the Potenza ultra high performance tires in size 255/45R18 99Y.

The fitment is the first for Bridgestone Firestone application on the STS, although the company also supplies tires for the Cadillac DTS and Escalade.

“Cadillac says of its luxury touring sedan, ‘it’s all about driving confidence on the road,’ and the same is true of Bridgestone-brand Potenza tires,” notes Michael Martini, president of consumer OE tire sales. He says the tire “is loaded with race-inspired technologies and is built for the pleasure of driving. Like the STS, our tire blends performance, style and comfort in perfect harmony.”

He goes on to describe the tire’s “excellent grip on dry roads and surefooted traction in the wet,” citing an asymmetrical tread pattern that increases surface contact to enhance acceleration and cornering.

In recent years, the company has supplied the RE050A to General Motors as a premium option for several performance-minded vehicles including the Cadillac CTS, Pontiac Grand Prix GTP, Pontiac G6, Chevrolet Malibu SS and the Opel GT, which is sold exclusively in Europe.
