In an effort to expand its engineering services capabilities to North America, German automotive-parts manufacturer Robert Bosch has established a U.S. unit.
The Michigan-based Farmington Hills facility, through the provision of engineering services, including specification, function development, calibration and software integration for embedded control systems, will enhance Bosch's product development activities in the North American market.
Keith Andrews, regional president of Bosch Engineering North America, said: "Bosch Engineering North America provides an extension of Bosch's extensive automotive engineering capabilities that have sustained our technology advancements for more than 100 years. With this, we are bringing our innovative expertise to the growing field of engineering services in North America."
