June 7, 2013—3M recently made a six-figure in-kind donation to 312 secondary and post-secondary collision repair school programs nationwide through the Collision Repair Education Foundation.
3M’s donation includes more than 15,000 rolls of 3/4” tape and more than 22,000 rolls of 2” tape. The donated products are valued at roughly $250,000.
“We believe in what the Collision Repair Education Foundation stands for and this is just our simple way in which we can help as many schools as possible,” said Mark Algie, business development manager for 3M Automotive Aftermarket Division. “It is our hope that these donations help in some small way, so that the students, schools and ultimately the industry, will benefit.”
