Company launches new PDR estimating system

July 9, 2012

July 9, 2012—Sullivan PDR Estimator has launched a new estimating system specifically designed for paintless dent repairs (PDR).

The estimating system, which was developed by Jim Sullivan and Jack Pelham, is a web-based application that estimates the cost of using PDR techniques for dents of any size. The system includes two separate applications, one for estimating dents and one for estimating hail damage.

Sullivan PDR Estimator also allows shops to provide customers with two estimates—one for conventional repair and one for PDR techniques.

“Taking two minutes to estimate dents during an oil change or when a vehicle is brought in for other collision repairs could earn the shop some considerable add-on revenues,” Sullivan said, noting nearly every vehicle that arrives for service at a body shop has various dents and dings that could be fixed by PDR.
