Oct. 24, 2013—PPG released details of its SEMA Show booth schedule on Wednesday, including uniquely painted cars and motorcycles, artwork by more than 30 automotive artists and several new refinish products.
The booth (No. 24501) will host award-winning painters including Charley Hutton (Charley Hutton’s Color Studio), Bobby Alloway (Alloway’s Hot Rod Shop), Dave Perewitz (Perewitz Cycle Fabrication), Kenny Youngblood (Youngblood Art) and Tom and Mitch Kelly (Kelly & Son Crazy Painters). The painters will greet visitors as they enter the PPG booth, sign autographs and discuss painting techniques.
The Kelly team will also unveil a new custom car creation—a 1957 Chevrolet convertible finished with PPG waterborne VIBRANCE COLLECTION Money Green and silver colors. They will hand out keepsake souvenir posters at the booth.
Bill Steele (Steele’s Kustoms), Brian Mobeck (Unique Auto and Body) and Daniel Galvez (Danny D. Pinstriping and Paint) will also be revealing unique, custom paint jobs at the booth.
