Andy Tylka, an SCRS National Director, and Bud Center, an I-CAR Manager of Technical Research and Development, have teamed up for a new video series by the Society of Collision Repair Specialists (SCRS) and I-CAR.
In the latest video, Tylka and Center discuss the intricate process of building out an ADAS calibration environment to demanding specifications. They cover various aspects, from facility, flooring, lighting, tooling, and equipment. The series is filmed at the I-CAR Chicago Technical Center (CTC), a 48,000 square foot research and development facility that opened in August 2022.
This collaboration between SCRS and I-CAR, utilizing the state-of-the-art CTC, aims to provide valuable insights into the world of ADAS calibration and its implications for the automotive industry. The series is part of SCRS’s ongoing efforts to educate the industry about the latest developments in vehicle safety technology.
