Jan. 3, 2013—DuPont Performance Coatings (DPC) has partnered with General Motors (GM) to offer a Parts Rebate Program to its network of collision repair shops for 2013, the company announced Thursday.
Through the Parts Rebate Program, collision shops registered with DPC’s PerformanceGateway are rewarded with rebates when they purchase 100 percent Genuine GM parts electronically through OEConnection’s CollisionLink. DPC said parts rebates will be automatically deposited into shops’ designated bank accounts on a quarterly basis.
The program officially kicked-off Jan. 1. DPC said shops are able to enroll in the program any time throughout the year.
“DuPont Performance Coatings is proud to offer this program to our shops. It will bring additional profitability to the shops, assist them in reducing cycle time, increase the quality of repair and reduce administration workload," said Gary Scott, program manager of DPC’s OEM collision services.
DPC said shops are only able to participate in one GM-sponsored body shop rebate program in a given year. Shops that currently participate with another GM-sponsored rebate program are able to switch to DPC’s program in order to receive the automated rebates. Shops changing programs must register by Jan. 31.
