National Auto Body Council Accepting Nominations for Body Shop Image Award and Award of Distinction

Jan. 23, 2013

Jan. 23, 2013—The National Auto Body Council (NABC) is now accepting nominations for the 2013 Body Shop Image Award and Award of Distinction, according to an NABC press release.

The Body Shop Image Award identifies and awards collision repair facilities that completed a remodeling project during the 2013 calendar year. One winner and three runners-up will be recognized.

The Award of Distinction honors acts of philanthropy, charity, and bravery by industry professionals. Any individual, business organization, or group employed in a collision industry-related segment is eligible to be nominated.

“The collision repair industry is a dynamic profession that continually adapts to best address the challenges facing it,” said National Auto Body Council National Director Chuck Sulkala. “Like the Pride Award that came before it, the Award of Distinction will serve to shine a bright light on the best the industry has to offer.”

The winners of both awards will receive a trip for two in the continental U.S. (worth $1,500).

All nominations should be submitted by Sept. 15, 2013. To submit a nomination, visit autobodycouncil.org.
