Oct. 10, 2012 — The Washington Metropolitan Auto Body Association (WMABA) released a document Wednesday to give industry repairers and parts vendors relevant and simplified information related to the State Farm parts procurement pilot with PartsTrader.
"Rather than a position statement, we felt that this would be a better alternative for people to become informed on the issues," WMABA Executive Director Jordan Hendler said in a press release. "Even with the press coverage of this program being heavy there are still shops and parts vendors who have no idea what is going on. This is a way for the association to give them a shortened document to know what problems they could face if the program comes to our market."
