Nov. 28, 2012—Insurance Auto Auctions Inc. (IAA), a live an online salvage auto auction company, recently opened two new locations in the Texas markets of McAllen and Lubbock.
IAA said the additional locations were critical in order to give vehicle providers more avenues to sell their vehicles, and to provide global buyers with a larger pool of cars to bid on. IAA now has 12 auction locations throughout Texas.
“IAA has over 160 locations backed with the best service-minded team in the industry,” said Tom O’Brien, CEO of IAA. “Our continued expansion is a result of increased demand for our inventory and to provide greater convenience for both our buyers and sellers. Our goal is to provide the best inventory and selection to our global buyers in over 110 countries.”
IAA’s location in McAllen, Texas, which is located in the southern tip of the state, will conduct bi-weekly auctions on Tuesdays at 10 a.m. The company’s Lubbock, Texas, location, located in the northwestern part of the state, will also conduct bi-weekly auctions on Tuesdays at 9:30 a.m.
