April 24, 2013—Chrysler Canada will start a nationwide rollout next month of OEConnection’s online parts ordering solution, CollisionLink, to its network of more than 430 dealerships, OEConnection announced this week.
Chrysler Canada joins GM Canada and Ford Motor Co. of Canada to become the nation’s third OEM to choose CollisionLink for its dealer network since the solution was launched in Canada last year.
OEConnection said Chrysler’s Conquest program will be integrated within CollisionLink to help Chrysler, Dodge, RAM and Jeep dealers compete more aggressively with low-priced aftermarket suppliers and sell more OEM replacement parts.
“CollisionLink provides value for nearly every stakeholder in the collision repair industry—from automakers and wholesale parts dealers to body shops, vehicle owners and insurance companies,” said Bill Lopez, collision business unit and OEM programs director for OEConnection. “As it has in the United States, CollisionLink is changing not just the method by which Canadian shops order parts, but also the types of parts they buy: original equipment vs. aftermarket or recycled.”
The CollisionLink Canada solution and all supporting documentation will also be available in French.
